How does the licensing work?
When you purchase RoboCharge, we e-mail to you a new RoboCharge.Lic
file. This file contains a list of AuthorizeNet login's that you are
licensed for. You install this file simply by copying over the
existing RoboCharge.Lic file (from the demo or previous license). If
you try to process transactions to a AuthorizeNet Login that you are not
licensed for, you will receive a license violation return code. If
you require an ISP license (unlimited Login's) please Contact
Us.
Web Server Example
You have integrated RoboCharge into your Web Site using an Active
Server Page (ASP). You have two different AuthorizeNet merchant
logins. You are also running this on two different web
servers.
You would buy
the RoboCharge license ($199) and one additional gateway license ($49) and
then one additional web server license ($199). Total cost $447.00.
Standalone
Computer Example
You have written a Visual Basic application for your call center so
that your agents can process credit card transactions. There are 10
operators. You process for two different companies, therefore having
2 AuthorizeNet merchant logins. You do not have a web server nor is
anyone processing over the internet.
You
would buy the RoboCharge license ($199) and one additional gateway license
($49) and 9 additional standalone computer licenses ($49 * 9 =
$441). Total cost $689.00.
