NTpage is shipped as a single executable program. This file contains the setup program and all components of NTpage. It is shipped and will install automatically as a 30 day trial version. If you have purchased a copy of NTpage it is very important that you install the NTpage licensed file (NTPAGE.LIC) in the \WINNT\SYSTEM directory on the NT Server you will be installing NTpage on prior to starting the installation. This will ensure all the features and options you purchased are fully active when the installation is complete. To install NTpage, From the Taskbar, click Start, then Run… Type in the name of the file you received and click OK. Then follow the instructions given by the installation program. During installation you will be prompted to select the NTpage components you which to install. Here is a list of the Components, their function and where you would typically install them. NTpage components that can be installed At the end of copying the files to your machine the first step of the installation will be complete. At this point based on the components installed your computer may need to be restarted, if so, the installation program will advise you that this is the case. When your machine has restarted you should run the NTpage Administrator, to complete the installation. The NTpage Administrator has several wizards that will assist you in completing your setup of NTpage. Please continue to the next section for information regarding the NTpage Installation Wizard. |
